ONE flyweight kickboxing champ Superlek Kiatmoo9 is believing in himself ahead of his much-anticipated title bout against Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Superlek will attempt to make his first flyweight kickboxing world title defense at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video this March. The 27-year-old says that believing in oneself is half the battle in the fight game.
The champ attained his first world title by defeating Spain's Daniel Puertas by unanimous decision in January. He has now won six of his seven bouts in ONE Championship.
"Believe you can, and you’re halfway there. แค่เชื่อว่าทำได้ คุณก็สำเร็จไปแล้วครึ่งหนึ่ง ซุปเละ ⚡️🥊ลุยย✌️"

Superlek admits to difficulties adjusting to kickboxing ruleset in preparation for Rodtang match
Normally a Muay Thai competitor, Superlek has had to adjust to the rules of kickboxing recently, which he admits is difficult. His title-winning effort was in the kickboxing ruleset and so will be his upcoming match against Rodtang.
In an exclusive interview with ONE, the champ alluded to the difficulties of adapting to kickboxing rules, saying:
“Rodtang’s basics depend on punch and kick in a Muay Thai fight. He doesn’t use elbows that much. That’s why his style is compatible with kickboxing rules. He didn’t need to adjust. But for me, I had to adapt a lot. I am still concerned about how I accidentally use clinch, elbows, or knees in kickboxing.”
He can, however, take solace in knowing that ‘The Iron Man’ is also accustomed to competing under Muay Thai rules. All but three of Rodtang's bouts inside the circle have been Muay Thai matches. Thus far, he has lost a mixed-rules superfight against Demetrious Johnson and won his two kickboxing matches, including his latest win against Jiduo Yibu this past January.
Rodtang already has a flyweight Muay Thai world title defense scheduled for ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, regardless of the outcome against Superlek.
The pair of world-class strikers will battle it out for flyweight kickboxing supremacy in the main event of ONE Fight Night 8 later this month.
Be sure to tune in to ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24 (US primetime) to watch the champ look to defend his flyweight kickboxing world title against Rodtang, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
All of the action will be broadcast live and for free to Amazon Prime subscribers across North America.
