Rodtang Jitmuangnon is seen as this unforgiving monster in ONE Championship’s striking flyweight division, but Superlek Kiatmoo9 isn’t one to run away from adversity. Besides, Superlek is the one walking into ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video with the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title.
‘The Kicking Machine’ is set to start his world title reign when he defends the gold against Rodtang in the main event of the March 24 show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
In an interview with the promotion, the Kiatmoo9 Gym fighter said he’s not scared of whatever Rodtang brings to the table. While Rodtang’s known for his ultra-aggressive style, Superlek expects the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion to come in with a more cautious approach:

“Maybe this time he will come to me with less aggression. He is likely to be more careful. He may plot to prevent me from throwing my weapons. But I can guarantee no matter what style he uses on me, he will never scare me.”
Both fighters are considered among the best in their generation, and their extensive fight records speak of that sentiment.
Superlek is 132-29-4 in his career and 8-1 in ONE Championship. His lone defeat inside the circle was against Ilias Ennahachi when he challenged for the ONE flyweight kickboxing gold in 2021. Since that defeat, the 27-year-old from Buriram, Thailand has racked up four straight wins and has capped it off with an impressive unanimous decision win over Daniel Puertas for the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing world title at ONE Fight Night 6.
Rodtang, meanwhile, is at 270-42-10 overall and has a perfect 13-0 striking record in ONE Championship. His last win was in a kickboxing match against Jiduo Yibu this past January.
ONE Fight Night 8 is ONE Championship’s third Amazon card of the year and will be available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
