Thai legend Nong-O Hama believes newly minted two-sport ONE world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 will come out on top when 'The Kicking Machine' inevitably clashes with Scottish sensation Nico Carrillo.
Returning to the Circle at ONE 168: Denver earlier this month, Superlek scored one of the biggest knockouts of his career, putting away Jonathan Haggerty with a perfectly timed elbow 49 seconds into their main event in The Mile High City.
Now the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, Superlek has a wide assortment of world-class talent targeting him.

That includes Carrillo, who, thus far, has been perfect inside the Circle with four massive wins and a 100% finish rate—including a jaw-dropping second-round KO against Nong-O Hama at ONE Friday Fights 46 last year.
Speaking with the South China Morning Post, Nong-O shared his thoughts on a potential showdown between Superlek and the 'King of the North' following the festivities in Denver, Colorado.
"Since Nico is a heavy hitter, I think Superlek will win with his mind."
Nong-O looks to hand Russian standout Kiamrian Nabati his first loss at ONE Friday Fights 81
Nong-O will attempt to continue his climb back into title contention on Friday, September 27, when ONE Championship heads back to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium for a loaded ONE Friday Fights 81 card in Bangkok.
The eight-time ONE world champion will face undefeated Russian striker Kiamrian Nabati and look to land his 267th career victory.
Making his promotional debut in September 2023, Nabati immediately made a name for himself with a dominant showing against Pongsiri, followed by a unanimous decision victory over Avatar PK Saenchai. However, it was his first-round knockout of Suablack at ONE Friday Fights 68 that really caught the attention of fight fans.
If Nabati can bag a win over one of the most accomplished fighters in Muay Thai history, he may very well be in line for a potential shot at Superlek's bantamweight belt.
ONE Friday Fights 81 will air live and exclusively on pay-per-view on Friday, September 27 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Follow this link to place your order.
