English fighter Lerone Murphy, who competes in the UFC's featherweight division, called out EA Sports for not featuring him in their latest game based on the premier MMA promotion. Murphy has been fighting in the promotion since 2019 while the latest game in the EA Sports UFC 4 series was released in 2020.
'The Miracle' voiced his frustrations through a tweet directed at the official EA Sports UFC Twitter handle. Here's what he said:
"I need to be on the new game. Along with a lot of other new school fighters. There’s people that haven’t fought in the UFC for 7+ years on there."

Lerone Murphy last competed at this year's London event, i.e. UFC 286, at the O2 Arena. He fought Gabriel Santos and defeated him via split decision. The main event featured a trilogy bout between English-native welterweight champion Leon Edwards and former champion Kamaru Usman.
Except for a draw in his promotional debut, Lerone Murphy is undefeated in his mixed martial arts career.

Since Michael Bisping, the UK has produced some excellent prospects in MMA, with the likes of current welterweight champion Leon Edwards, Tom Aspinall and Arnold Allen to name just a few. The region is home to some of the biggest names in mixed martial arts in the world today, sharing borders with Ireland and Scotland, which are known for producing excellent fighters.
'The Miracle' started fighting professionally as a lightweight in 2016, in a Bolton-based English promotional called Full Contact Contender (FCC). While mostly fighting for the FCC and winning the featherweight title before joining the world's premier MMA promotion, Murphy fought for promotions like the Tanko Fighting Championships, FightStar Championship, Evolution of Combat and Celtic Gladiator.
Murphy made his debut in the premier MMA promotion at UFC 242 against Dagestani Zubaira Tukhugov. After three hard-fought rounds, the bout was declared a draw on all three judges' scorecards.
Following the only non-win of his career, 'The Miracle' went on a four-fight win-streak, beating the likes of Ricardo Ramos, Douglas Silva de Andrade, Makwan Amirkhani and, most recently, Gabriel Santos.
Lerone Murphy is primarily a striker with six career wins by knockout, with two of those wins in the UFC. In his second promotional bout, he finished Ricardo Ramos with punches in the first round. In his third outing with the premier MMA promotion, he found a second-round KO finish against Makwan Amirkhani.
Out of 12 wins in Murphy's career, six have come by way of first-round finishes. Lerone Murphy has a promotional record of 4-0-1 and an overall MMA record of 12-0-1.
