T.J. Dillashaw fires shots at Kevin Holland for disrespecting MMA legend during podcast appearance: "Can't come in here and disrespect a UFC champion"

T.J. Dillashaw recently took shots at Kevin Holland after he disrespected an MMA legend during a podcast appearance. The former bantamweight champion took offense and shared his thoughts on 'Trailblazer's lack of interest for a UFC championship.

The former 'Contender Series' alum went viral last week after his appearance on Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson's JAXXON PODCAST, in which he pressed the former light heavyweight champion about a past comment. It was a tense exchange as Holland noted that he didn't care about the UFC championship and even said he wanted to fight 'Rampage'.

During the latest episode of JAXXON PODCAST recapping UFC 311, the former bantamweight weighed in on 'Trailblazer's appearance and noted that it upset him to watch, considering he frequently appears and is part of the JAXXON brand. Dillashaw mentioned that Holland is entitled to his beliefs but shouldn't disrespect a competitor like Jackson, who has accomplished a great deal in the sport:

"I wouldn't say it's a bad thing [not wanting to be UFC champion]. But you can't come in here and disrespect the UFC champion...Someone that did put it all there, that did work his a** off and won a world title and like, talk sh*t, you know?"

T.J. Dillashaw doubles down on Kevin Holland's views on a UFC championship

In addition to taking shots at Kevin Holland for being disrespectful toward Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, T.J. Dillashaw doubled down by taking a jibe at his views on the UFC championship.

During the aforementioned episode, Dillashaw mentioned that he believes Holland doesn't view the UFC championship as being important because it's his way of coping with it being a goal he can't achieve:

"[Holland is] fun. He's entertaining, he's fun. I commented even on one of the posts you guys put out there about him not caring about being a champion, 'There's too much politics in it'. I'm like, alright dude, that's just an excuse because you'll never be a champion."
