UFC CEO Dana White has reignited his criticism of Frontier Airlines after former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov was removed from one of their flights.
Viral footage showed Nurmagomedov being escorted off a Las Vegas to San Francisco flight earlier this month following a disagreement over seating in an emergency exit row. The retired MMA star reportedly refused to comply with the airline’s request to change seats, leading to his removal.
On Wednesday, White shared a Wall Street Journal report on Instagram that ranked Frontier as the worst airline of 2024. The report highlighted the airline's "highest rate for delays and involuntarily bumped passengers."

Dana White talks about his relationship with Merab Dvalishvili
Dana White addressed his "goofy" relationship with bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili after the fighter’s impressive performance at UFC 311. Dvalishvili successfully defended his title against the previously undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov, showcasing his skills in a hard-fought bout.
White has had a turbulent relationship with Dvalishvili, particularly during the reign of Aljamain Sterling as bantamweight champion. The Georgian’s refusal to fight his long-time friend Sterling did not sit well with the UFC brass. Despite the tension, White clarified that his relationship with Dvalishvili isn’t adversarial.
Following UFC 311, cameras captured a conversation between the two in the octagon. White explained:
"He and I have had kind of a goofy relationship. So he was just saying, 'Listen, I love the UFC. Thank you for everything.' He was going crazy... It's been pretty public how goofy our relationship is. He's done some things that I didn't love. I don't dislike him at all, we've just had some moments. That's typical, I have moments with everybody. No biggie."
