Tammi Musumeci confirms she will be at ONE Fight Night 10 to support brother Mikey Musumeci

Siblings Mikey and Tammi Musumeci haven’t just grown up alongside one another, they’ve competed next to each other throughout their careers in submission grappling.

At ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video, Tammi followed in her younger brother's footsteps by debuting in ONE Championship, securing her first win inside the circle over Bianca Basilio.

At ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5, ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci will return to the cage to defend his gold against Osamah Almarwai.

The event will be a historic night for the promotion as ONE Championship arrives in the United States for the first time, hosting ONE Fight Night 10 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

With the action set to take place a lot closer to home for Tammi, she will be in attendance to support her brother and repay the favor, but she would also like to compete alongside her sibling.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post following ONE Fight Night 8, Tammi said:

“Yes, I’m definitely going to be there, one hundred percent to watch him. If I can be on that card then that would be cool, but I’m really excited to get back in there.”

Tammi Musumeci wants to follow in Lee family footsteps, win world titles with brother Mikey

At ONE Fight Night 8, Tammi Musumeci made her ONE Championship debut. After winning her first contest inside the circle against Bianca Basilio, Tammi revealed that she has drawn inspiration from the Lee family.

Looking to follow in the footsteps of the Lee family and replicate their success, Tammi has dreams of becoming a world champion so that she can stand shoulder to shoulder with her brother.

After her win at ONE Fight Night 8, she said:

“It would mean so much to me to become a champion like my brother. It would be similar to what the Lee family has accomplished, and that would be really cool.”

Christian and Angela Lee are unquestionably two of the greatest fighters in ONE Championship’s history. Both siblings have impressive resumes of finishes that have seen Angela hold the ONE women’s atomweight world championship whilst Christian currently holds both the lightweight and welterweight world titles.
