At ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24th, Tammi Musumeci will make her submission grappling debut in ONE Championship. Whilst she will be introducing herself to ONE Championship fans for the very first time, they are very familiar with the style and achievements of her brother Mikey Musumeci.
The two siblings have been training alongside one another since first falling in love with Jiu-Jitsu, regularly working on techniques together from the house they grew up in. Through their extensive careers in submission grappling, the Musumeci siblings have achieved an incredible list of accolades between them.
For a competitor that is looking to challenge herself at the highest level, Tammi couldn’t ask for a better training partner than her own blood. In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Tammi spoke about the credit that her younger brother deserves for her success as well as his own achievements:
“I always tell him, ‘You created a black belt World Champion!’ You have all these coaches out there, and nobody really sees him as a coach, but he helped me and got me to where I am today.”

Mikey Musumeci’s sister Tammi Musumeci wins the 2022 IBJJF No Gi world title
Both Mikey and Tammi Musumeci are two of the top submission grapplers in the world. At ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24th in Singapore, the older sister of ONE’s flyweight submission grappling world champion will make her debut inside the Circle.
The two siblings have supported each other throughout their careers, which are decorated with world championships. In December last year, Tammi claimed her fourth IBJJF no gi world title, prompting her younger brother Mikey Musumeci to show his appreciation for her accomplishments.
Competing at the 2022 IBJJF Worlds, Tammi took home another gold medal by submitting Jasmine Rocha in the final round.
Via his Instagram account, Mikey ‘Darth Rigatoni’ Musumeci celebrated his sister’s recent accomplishment:
“TAMMI NOW 5X BLACK BELT WORLD CHAMPION! My sister did it and is now the 2022 NOGI BLACK BELT WORLD CHAMPION. 😭❤️ Tammi works 5 days a week as a lawyer, and on her weekend off we drove to Cali, where she won her 5th world title in black belt. I’m so proud of her for her performance today, but also for the person she is. #proudbrother”
Tammi Musumeci’s ONE Championship debut will be live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 24th. The event also airs live and for free to North American viewers via Prime Video.
