Tawanchai is ready for whatever ONE Championship throws his way, including a trilogy fight with 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut. This Friday, Jan. 24, Tawanchai returns to the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand to put his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title on the line against the promotion's reigning featherweight kickboxing king, Superbon.
It will be Tawanchai's first time putting his 26 pounds of gold on the line since narrowly escaping a five-round war against Nattawut with his title intact.
The Thai titleholder first went toe-to-toe with Nattawut at ONE Fight Night 15, securing a decisive decision victory in an entertaining kickboxing clash. Eight months later, they'd run it back in the art of eight limbs, and while Tawanchai came out on top once again, his performance left a lot to be desired.

With many, including ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong, believing Nattawut was the rightful winner in their last meeting, a trilogy fight between the two seems almost inevitable.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Tawanchai was asked about a potential threequel between the two, to which the Thai said he'd welcome that fight and any other opponents ONE chooses to put in front of him.
"I'm open to whatever ONE offers," he said. "Whether it's Muay Thai or kickboxing, I'm ready."
Tawanchai knows he has to be wary of all of Superbon's weapons in ONE 170 rematch
Before Tawanchai can even consider a third meeting with Jo Nattawut on martial arts' biggest global stage, he'll have to focus on the task at hand. That being a long-awaited rematch with one of the P4P greatest kickboxers on the planet.
ONE 170 will see Tawanchai put his gold on the line against Superbon, running back their instant classic at ONE Friday Fights 46 in Dec. 2023.
Despite already owning a victory over the undisputed ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion, Tawanchai knows that he'll have to be on his A-game if he hopes to bag a second straight win over someone as dangerous and well-rounded as Superbon.
"For his strengths, It’s everything," Tawanchai added. "He is already amazing. He has good kicks, elbows, punches, and knees."
