“The key in this fight is my inner fire. I’m hungry for the victory. I’ll never give up on anything easily.”

Tawanchai seized the featherweight Muay Thai gold last September over former world champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee, winning by unanimous decision.

Looking to make it a short reign for the Thai world champion is veteran Yusupov, 39, who has racked up three straight victories, propelled by his punching power, since making his promotional debut at ONE: Age of Dragons in November 2019.

“[Yusupov’s] strength is heavy, strong punches. He hardly has any weaknesses. He’s one of the strongest fighters. You can’t underestimate him in any way."

Since making his promotional debut in May 2021, Tawanchai has won four fights in ONE Championship, including the last three in dominant fashion.
