Tawanchai PK Saenchai is confident that he'll defend his featherweight Muay Thai world title once more in his upcoming rematch with Superbon.
After making sure the belt stays where it is, the Thai striking maestro believes it's only fair that he also gets a crack at Superbon's own 26 pounds of gold.
Speaking during the ONE 170 media day, the 155-pound Muay Thai kingpin made it clear that he wants to vie for two-sport supremacy and challenge for the featherweight kickboxing crown.
"I dream of it every year. Muay Thai belt, of course, I have to keep it. Another matter is I want to be a kickboxing world champion. I'm ready to fight for the kickboxing world title any time."

Tawanchai and Superbon will run it back at ONE 170 next week, in the sequel to their epic five-round strikefest at ONE Friday Fights 46 back in 2023.
The PK Saenchai superstar edged out his fellow Thai via majority decision, and he'll look to accomplish the same feat on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is worth noting that Tawanchai is also 2-0 in kickboxing matches under the home of martial arts, holding victories over Davit Kiria and Smokin' Jo Nattawut.
Tawanchai says he's his own harshest critic
Tawanchai has never let the outside noise affect how he sees himself. After all, the 25-year-old holds himself in high regard and admitted he will always be his own worst critic.
"When I take a break from training, I watch my own videos to find my mistakes so that I can fix them and restore my faith or make those who don't believe in me believe and follow me again," he told ONE.
That said, Tawanchai has a lot to prove and he can erase all doubts with a statement performance against Superbon at ONE 170. The full event is available live on Asian Primetime via watch.onefc.com.
