The ONE featherweight Muay Thai king said:

“I'm not sure about the knockdown because Jamal is a very strong fighter. Also, the ultimate weapon, I would rather not say. I would want you guys to watch me in the fight.”

Tawanchai ascended to the top of his division last September by defeating former champion and fellow Thai fighter Petchmorakot Petchyindee by unanimous decision. Since making his promotional debut in May 2021, he has won four of his five fights, including the last three in dominant fashion.

Out to cut the champion’s reign short is Yusupov, 39, who is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, the last one coming in December against Jo Nattawut by unanimous decision.
