Tawanchai wasn’t surprised by Chingiz Allazov’s knockout of Superbon Singha Mawynn

Featherweight Muay Thai king Tawanchai PK.Saenchai was not shocked when 'Chinga' Chingiz Allazov was able to capture the kickboxing throne by knocking out Superbon Singha Mawynn.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the 23-year-old ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion explained his reaction to the fight. The Thai-born striker said:

"Both of them have my respect. They’re both top fighters in the world. I believe anything can happen when it comes to fighting. No one is to be underestimated. It depends on how well you can counter each other’s game plan and how well you’ve prepared for the fight. One mistake can be a game-changer."

Earlier this year, Chingiz Allazov was able to dethrone the kickboxing pound-for-pound king by knocking out Superbon in the second round. At the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, 'Chinga' became the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion in an unforgettable bout.

Allazov is a dangerous and skilled kickboxing striker who has captured gold in every organization he has competed in. Defeating Superbon to capture the featherweight kickboxing throne was the crowning achievement of his career.


When is Tawanchai's next fight?

Combat sports fans are no doubt looking forward to seeing Tawanchai PK.Saenchai back in the ONE circle. After capturing the ONE featherweight Muay Thai crown, he will look to defend his title at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, booked for February 24, against Turkey's Jamal Yusupov.

ONE Fight Night 7 will be available live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America in U.S. primetime.

The upcoming ONE Championship event will be hosted at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Fighting in front of his home country crowd makes Tawanchai motivated to put on a show.

In an interview with ONE Championship, the 23-year-old Muay Thai phenom explained:

"It’s very encouraging for me to fight where I spent a lot of time in, where all the fans can come to support me. I’ll put all my effort into this fight. I don’t want my fans to be disappointed in me.”

Tawanchai has won most of his bouts in ONE Championship by way of stunning knockouts. Fans will be hoping to see more of this Muay Thai prodigy as he looks to defend his world title at ONE Fight Night 7.
