Legendary boxing coach Teddy Atlas has called for action against Dave Moretti, the boxing judge who controversially scored the Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko bout.
Dave Moretti, an experienced boxing judge who has been scoring fights since 1977 has come under a lot of scrutiny for scoring the 10th round of the fight in favor of Devin Haney even though the round was very clearly dominated by Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Upon being made aware of the same, Teddy Atlas took to Twitter and suggested that Dave Moretti must be called by the Commission to explain his scoring.

In a tweet that followed, Teddy Atlas demanded the Nevada State Athletic Commission to investigate the matter and said:
"It's confirmed Moretti gave Haney the 10th round, so now the omnipotent Commission there needs to act like Commission & investigate. #HaneyLoma"
As per Atlas, Dave Moretti should explain why he gave the 10th round to Devin Haney. Interestingly, the legendary coach also called for a petition to disband the Nevada State Athletic Commission should it fail to investigate the matter:
"If Nevada Commission doesn’t call Moretti in and make him explain giving 10th to Haney, then we should start petition to disband them. #HaneyLoma"
Devin Haney judge: Vasiliy Lomachenko's team is ready to appeal the controversial decision
Vasiliy Lomachenko and his team are ready to appeal the controversial decision. Speaking about how they felt upon hearing the scorecards, Lomachenko's manager Egis Klimas claimed that it was the "biggest robbery".
While suggesting that they will fight the decision and not let it go so easily, Egis Klimas had this to say:
"This is the biggest robbery in the middle of the day. For the other team, Christmas came in the summer and we're not gonna let it go, I guarantee we're gonna protest, I guarantee we're gonna appeal that decision because somebody needs to end this injustice."
While further claiming that boxing needs to be put back into the right place, Egis Klimas said:
"Somebody needs to put boxing in the place it has to be and it has to be justice because those judges, when they are scoring their completely insane score, don't understand how those fighters are working hard to get into that place and to be robbed like that is not acceptable."
