UFC superstar Conor McGregor is making his highly awaited comeback in the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). The Irishman will coach TUF 31 opposite Michael Chandler, with the duo set to face each other later in the year.
The former two-division champion has been out of active competition for more than a year and a half at this point since breaking his leg at UFC 264 during his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
However, netizens haven't been taking it easy on the Dubliner en route to his comeback. A recent video of the Irishman shadowboxing in front of TUF memorabilia has landed him in the crosshairs of Twitter trolls.
The footage shows 'The Notorious' throwing punches and mimicking leg kick defense. Reacting to the footage, Twitter user @JimboSamso trolled the Irishman, saying:

"Please God tell me that’s a deep fake."
@CutieKids4life pointed out that the Irishman was checking kicks like a madman, while another netizen @Fuzzlcfc criticized the fighter's leg kick defense technique.
An eagled-eyed user, @SeeUSoonBoyy made fun of the Irishman's hairline with a clever TUF pun:
"Man, that hairline is tuff looking. He also need[s] to fill in that crown that's getting pretty thin."
A rather skeptical fan responded by saying that something looked off about the footage, while @Jennamarie227 praised McGregor saying that he has the perfect personality for TV.
