The Tenshin Nasukawa vs. Jonathan Rodriguez super middleweight bout has just concluded, with both men having waged a patient, low-volume war. Surprisingly, it didn't last long and ultimately took on a different complexion than what is usually expected of matchups featuring two counter-punchers.
The Japanese star was quick to impose himself on the bout, and found the finish within three rounds, dropping his foe with a combination. While Rodriguez dug deep and stumbled back to his feet in an attempt to continue, the referee had seen enough and waved the bout off.
Now, Nasukawa extends his unbeaten boxing record, as he hopes to reach the same heights in 'The Sweet Science' that he did in kickboxing.

Tenshin Nasukawa vs. Jonathan Rodriguez full highlights
The Tenshin Nasukawa vs. Jonathan Rodriguez fight lasted just three rounds. The first round was a slow affair, without much in the way of action. Nasukawa dictated the range with straight and punches and good movement.
He was light on his toes, bouncing in and out of range, landing jabs to the body and a few straight lefts. However, it was in round two that Nasukawa found his true openings. He kept troubling Rodriguez with his speed, before faking a right jab to draw out his opponent's check hook, which Rodriguez sought to land over the top of Nasukawa's jab.
It was then that Nasukawa slipped and blasted him down the gap in the middle with a straight left, rocking him badly, with only the ropes keeping him up.
