Terence Crawford recently opened up about confronting Teofimo Lopez publically at the Canelo Alvarez vs. Edgar Berlanga Jr. boxing match. Crawford slammed Lopez for his disrespectful attitude while calling for a fight against him.
For context, Crawford and Lopez have been trading shots for quite some time and don't seem to have any love for each other. After Crawford's unanimous decision win over Israil Madrimov earlier this year, Lopez discouraged 'Bud' from pursuing a super fight against Alvarez, claiming the undisputed welterweight world champion was too old to face high-profile boxers anymore.
Given that the two also traded shots earlier this year over Lopez accusing Crawford of always facing injured boxers, it's hardly surprising that their feud almost turned into a public brawl at the Alvarez-Berlanga Jr. fight. Crawford seemingly pressed Lopez for his disrespect and appeared to have tapped his head as well.

During a recent interview with Bernie The Boxer, Crawford addressed their brief fracas at the event and said:
"It's the way that you go about getting a fight. As a man, you not about to disrespect me... I'm not disrespecting you as a man... This little motherf**ker just disrespectful... I seen him at the fight, he look at me, and he playing because he think everything's a game. He don't understand that I'll beat the f**k out of him."

Terence Crawford explains turning down two-fight deal with Conor McGregor
In the same interview, Terence Crawford explained turning down an offer to fight Conor McGregor in a boxing and MMA two-fight deal. The world champion pugilist wasn't keen on getting hit with kicks and elbows under mixed martial arts rules.
Speaking to Bernie The Boxer, 'Bud' addressed McGregor recently revealing that they were in talks for such a fight deal and explained why he had declined the offer. He said:
''I told Conor, ‘Hell no’. They called me, and they offered me the fight, and me and Conor got on the phone and started trying to figure something out. And I told him, ‘Man, I ain’t getting into no octagon with you so you can be kicking me and elbow me and sh*t.’ He started laughing and sh*t, and he said, ‘Man, I respect it. ‘You respect my sport just like I respect your sport, and you understand that if you get in an octagon, you’re going to be at a disadvantage.''
