Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex wants “everyone to remember” her undeniable power in 2025 comeback era

ONE atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex has been out of action for some time now after injuring her knee and recovering. She, however, vows to return with a bang next year by coming up with a vintage performance to remind one and all of her power and standing as a topnotch fighter.

Fight fans last saw action from the Thai megastar in September last year, where she claimed the vacant atomweight championship belt with a third-round TKO of South Korean veteran Ham Seo Hee at ONE Fight Night 24.

She was slated to make her first defense of the tilte back in June against former teammate Denice Zamboanga until she injured her knee while in training and had to pull out from the match.

In an interview with ONE Championship as she continues to rehabilitate from her injury, Stamp spoke about the mindset she has in her comeback bid in 2025. The 27-year-old Fairtex Training Center standout said:

"I want everyone to remember who Stamp is and why I'm so hungry for a championship."

Stamp has been part of ONE Championship for six years now. She has had a lot of success, becoming a three-sport world champion and is widely considered as one of the faces of the promotion. It is something she looks to resume doing when she plunges back into action.

Stamp interested to catch Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna battle for interim atomweight belt

While she continues with her recovery, Stamp Fairtex will be watching atomweight contenders Denice Zamboanga and Alyona Rassohyna battle each other for the interim championship belt next month in Thailand.

The Zamboanga-Rassohyna clash is part of ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev on Prime Video on Jan. 11 at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium. It is part of the event which will be the first offering of ONE Championship for 2025.

Zamboanga is currently the No. 2 contender in the atomweight division and winner of her last three matches heading into ONE Fight Night 27. For her part, Rassohyna is at No. 4 but was last in ONE action in 2021, losing to Stamp by split decision, which leveled their head-to-head match-up in the promotion at 1-1.

The winner of the interim belt should be in for a unification match next with the Thai superstar in her comeback next year.

ONE Fight Night 27 will be aired live and for in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
