Former ONE featherweight king and current No.1 contender Thanh Le is eager to regain his world title after relinquishing it to China's Tang Kai at ONE 160.
Le recently revealed his thoughts regarding his fight with Tang. He told FTS MMA:
"The bailing, I think the bailing, him vacating space as much as he did after, let's say, maybe like after the second round. He was on his bike a lot. He definitely didn't want to put himself in any dangerous situations and trade punches, because he had a small lead with those leg kicks. So I get it. I understand."
The 37-year-old Le covets a rematch as he feels that he's the superior fighter. Le undoubtedly comes to fight each and every time – scoring finishes in all five of his ONE victories.

Despite criticizing his opponent's lack of aggression at ONE 160, Tang did realize some success, most notably midway through the fourth round.
Thanh Le does not seem impressed by Tang Kai's game plan at ONE 160
While some will call it a methodical game plan, Le describes Tang's showing as unimpressive. Regardless, it was enough for Tang to become China's first-ever male MMA world champion.
The former featherweight champion had more to say about the man who dethroned him:
"He also didn't want me to bring him to the ground, which is a smart game plan on his side as well. But yeah, the amount of, I don't want to say sprinting, but the amount of hip bailing and bouncing off the cage and maybe running to a different area, it was a little more than I expected to be honest."
Tang did a phenomenal job of disrupting Le's elite footwork by chopping at his legs. Eventually, Le got a bit desperate, resulting in him getting caught with a power left hook.
Few will scoff at an immediate rematch as these are two of the most entertaining fighters on ONE's roster. Incredibly, Tang is unbeaten in seven ONE appearances.
