Johan Ghazali hopes to headline a ONE Championship event in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
In February 2023, Ghazali made his ONE Championship debut on the ONE Friday Fights circuit. Since then, the Malaysian-American teenager has established a 6-1 promotional Muay Thai record, including five wins by knockout.
At 18 years old, Ghazali has many goals for his fighting career, including a ONE world title. 'Jojo' also wants to headline an event in Malaysia, which he explained during a recent interview with the promotion:
“I would love to fight in Qatar. I would love to fight in Japan. But my biggest goal is to bring ONE Championship back to Kuala Lumpur, so hopefully ONE Championship will organize another event at Axiata Arena again, and I can headline that card. That would be a dream come true.”

On June 7, Johan Ghazali suffered his lone ONE Championship loss against Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat. Three months later, the 18-year-old returned for a bounce-back first-round knockout against Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver.
Heading into 2025, Ghazali plans to secure a spot in the ONE flyweight Muay Thai rankings, starting with a fight in January.
Johan Ghazali looks to continue building momentum at ONE 170
On Jan. 24, Johan Ghazali looks to separate himself from a fellow flyweight prospect. The 18-year-old has been matched up against 22-year-old Johan Estupinan for an intriguing bout at ONE 170.
Estupinan first fought under the ONE Championship banner in May. The Columbian flyweight has maintained his undefeated lifetime record with four promotional wins, including three by knockout.
Estupinan's last two fights showcased his potential, as he overcame a rise in opposition against Sean Climaco and Zakaria El Jamari.
ONE 170 will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The upcoming event can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
ONE 170 also features three world title fights - Tawanchai PK Saenchai vs. Superbon (featherweight Muay Thai main event), Superlek vs. Nico Carrillo (bantamweight Muay Thai co-main event), and Fabricio Andrade vs. Kwon Won Il 2 (flyweight MMA).
