Fans recently gave their take on Israel Adesanya's new training video. Many are thrilled about it as Adesanya edges closer to making his octagon return in a title fight against Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305. The pay-per-view event will take place on Aug. 17 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

In his last octagon appearance at UFC 293, Adesanya lost his middleweight title to Sean Strickland via unanimous decision. Following the loss, 'The Last Stylebender' indicated that he might take a hiatus after years of staying active.

However, Adesanya later explained that his statement had been misinterpreted. He recently took to social media and shared a clip of himself sparring with his training partner, drawing reactions from fans online.

Israel Adesanya discusses his hiatus from fighting

Israel Adesanya recently opened up about his long sabbatical from fighting. 'The Last Stylebender' is scheduled to return to the octagon to take on the current middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305.

During the UFC 305 on-sale press conference, Adesanya revealed that he took a break from his career to focus on his mental health.

''This is the longest layoff of my fighting career. Five fights in 18 months—not just a fight, champion. It's not just the fights itself, the camps, or the pressure of being the king of everything, so it was good for me to remove myself from the game. Enjoy life. I took up golf. Slowed things down a little bit."
