For Regian Eersel, there's nothing bigger than having his long fighting career acknowledged by many, and this time, he received that recognition in a big way. The Surinamese superstar was recently included in a martial arts exhibition at the prestigious Wereldmuseum in Amsterdam ahead of his rematch with Alexis Nicolas at ONE Fight Night 25 on Oct. 4.

In that exhibition, his ONE Championship belt, pictures and story are being displayed to many in a celebration of the power and beauty of combat traditions.

While kickboxing is indeed prominent in the Netherlands, achieving this big of an accomplishment in Eersel's lifetime was something he never dreamed of, and he owes it all to his hard work and dedication to his craft.

He shared his excitement with the promotion in an interview ahead of his main event tilt inside the iconic Lumpinee Stadium:

"I feel honored that my belt, my picture, and my story are in the museum in Amsterdam. I feel appreciated."

He also added:

"You really can tell now that hard work pays off because the thought that I would be hanging in the museum in Amsterdam is crazy. I feel blessed."

Surely, Regian Eersel would want to solidify his legacy with a comeback victory and take back the ONE lightweight kickboxing world title he once lost.

Regian Eersel out for redemption and $50,000 bonus at ONE Fight Night 25

Regian Eersel is out for blood when he returns to the main event of ONE Fight Night 25 against Alexis Nicolas to redeem his loss and take the lightweight gold back to the Netherlands.

Moreover, he is excited to put on a spectacular performance in order to get the $50,000 bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

He stated this in an interview with MMA UK recently, saying:

"Yes, yeah. It's ONE Championship. It's the only kickboxing organization, like mixed martial arts organization, that gives the KO bonuses, you know, and then like 30-40, I think every fighter on that card, you know. So it's definitely a motivation also for all the fighters."
