"That'll be sick" - Danial Williams pumped for potential Takeru and Rodtang Muay Thai and kickboxing fights

ONE Championship star Danial Williams hopes to witness former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Japanese kickboxing great Takeru Segawa have two fights — one apiece under Muay Thai and kickboxing rules. 'Mini T' spoke to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, and said:

"I wish there was sorta an agreement where Rodtang steps into kickboxing, and then later down [the line], they fight in Muay Thai again. It'll be nice if it's a two-fight deal - that'll be sick."

'The Iron Man' was set to welcome Takeru to the promotion at ONE 165 in January, but the former withdrew due to injury. Takeru instead challenged two-sport king Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the flyweight kickboxing crown, but ultimately lost.

After Takeru knocked out Thant Zin in September to earn his first victory under the ONE banner, Rodtang met the Team Vasileus athlete inside the circle. Takeru called out the Jitmuangnon Gym product for a fight, which he happily agreed to.

'The Natural Born Crusher' returned the favor on Nov. 8 following Rodtang's win over Jacob Smith at ONE 169, with the megastars having another heated faceoff that left fans excited for their impending clash.

Danial Williams eyes quick outing at ONE Fight Night 26

Danial Williams wants to put away Thongpoon PK Saenchai as early as possible at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Kao Sok Muay Thai and Scrappy MMA representative shared his goal in a separate interview with Sportskeeda MMA:

"Yeah, I'd like to wrap it up early. Get into those exchanges early. Go for gold and have a little highlight reel, you know. Get it done early and have more preparation for the next fight."
