After scoring three straight finishes, Aung La N Sang is ready to keep the momentum going when he returns to The Mile High City in September.
'The Burmese Python' has seen something of a career resurgence over the last couple of years, bouncing back from a series of losses to earn highlight-reel knockouts against Yushin Okami and Gilberto Galvao followed by a second-round submission against Fan Rong at ONE Fight Night 10, which marked ONE Championship's first on-ground spectacle in North America.
Returning to the Circle on Friday, September 6 when ONE Championship heads back to the United States for ONE 168: Denver, Aung La N Sang will look to keep the streak alive when he meets undefeated Turkish standout Shamil Erdogan.

During a recent interview with The AllStar, spoke about the momentum he's built and his intention to keep it rolling in Denver, Colorado later this year.
"Momentum? Yeah, for sure I have the momentum with me right now, but I still have to put in the work," Aung La N Sang said. "I still have to do my homework and I still have to go out there and do everything to my capability. But know that the momentum is going to keep going as long as I'm focused and I'm training hard."
Aung La N Sang has turned over a new leaf as of late
Dropping two out of three, including back-to-back losses against Reinier de Ridder, things looked dire for the 39-year-old fan favorite.
But a recent string of wins has put Aung La N Sang back into the middleweight title picture. If he can bag one more win at ONE 168, he may very well be the next man in line. Of course, that'll be easier said than done as he faces a man who has never experienced defense in his mixed martial arts career.
Shamil Erdogan is a perfect 9-0 in MMA. His last victory came at ONE Friday Fights 22 when he scored a second-round knockout against Fan Rong in his promotional debut.
Will Erdogan bag his second straight inside the Circle and 10th overall, or will 'The Burmese Python' continue his rise back up the ranks and make it four in a row on martial arts' biggest global stage?
