Colby Covington's recent grappling session with rapper Lil Pump has drawn interest from MMA fans. Covington found himself in deep trouble after many bashed the UFC fighter for choking out Lil Pump.
Lil Pump recently took to Instagram and shared a clip of him grappling against Covington. The former UFC interim welterweight champion then went on to choke out the rapper and put him to sleep, despite the latter tapping out and pleading with Covington to let go.

Covington was previously spotted alongside streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy and Lil Pump, catching alleged child predators in Florida and punishing the individuals with body shots.
As for the MMA scene, Covington has been the subject of recent speculations about his possible return to the octagon in 2024's fourth quarter. Many have speculated the 36-year-old to take on Dustin Poirier upon his return but Poirier has dismissed the rumors in an interview with Fight Bananas.
In his last octagon outing at UFC 296, Covington made his third attempt at the welterweight title in a matchup against the then champion Leon Edwards, however, he lost the title fight via unanimous decision.

@roundupdavie's Instagram post suggesting that Colby Covington is making his octagon return has many fans buzzing. Round Up Country Western Nightclub's social media page initially posted:
"It was awesome having @colbycovington here this past weekend! Such a humble and nice guy. We couldn't get him on the mechanical bull since he's prepping for his fight in November, but we'll be cheering you on then. Thanks for taking photos with our staff and photographer, and we hope to see you back soon."
