Joe Rogan recently expressed his admiration for Jiri Prochazka for making significant changes in his fighting style following his matchups with Alex Pereira. Rogan stated that he was impressed by Prochazka's sharp and slick movements against Jamahal Hill.
In his most recent octagon outing at UFC 311 earlier this month, Prochazka took on Hill in a light heavyweight bout. The Czech successfully dodged Hill's attacks and knocked out the American in the third round. 'BJP' earned praise from the entire MMA community for his performance, including Rogan.
During Prochazka's recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC commentator applauded the former light heavyweight champ, saying:
''One thing you said after that fight you said, you have to evolve and one thing that I saw in this last fight with Jamahal Hill was evolution. I've really saw it, the head movement and the counters were brilliant. There's one that I put on my Instagram stories it was incredible. He [Hill] threw a punch you slid slightly out of the way, landed a straight left and then the right hook that dropped him but it was so dynamic, it was so fast and precise. I was like that's a different Jiri Prochazka.''

Prochazka was heavily criticized for his conventional fighting stance with his hands down, which exposed him to head strikes. That was clear when Pereira knocked him out in the second round of UFC 303's main event last year with a devastating head kick.
However, Prochazka's defensive approach was far better in his clash against Hill. Following his win, 'BJP' expressed his desire for a trilogy fight with Pereira, where he will look to reclaim his title.
Jiri Prochazka opens up on health issue before Jamahal Hill matchup at UFC 311
Jiri Prochazka got back in title contention with a dominant performance against Jamahal Hill at UFC 311, where he knocked out Hill in the third round.
However, Prochazka may have been forced to withdraw from the fight due to illness. During his aforementioned interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan, the 32-year-old stated:
''I had the flu... For one week, like, five days before fight week I was in a... fever... Maybe I’m a little bit glad for that because every time I’m trying to push my preparation too much that I hurt myself or I overtrain, so that’s why I’m maybe just a little bit glad for that.” [0:10]
