Dutch-Surinamese champ-champ 'The Immortal' Regian Eersel admitted to making a few key adjustments that led to his victory over French rival 'Barboza' Alexis Nicolas at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Prime Video last weekend.
The 31-year-old Eersel took home a dominant unanimous decision victory in his highly anticipated rematch with 'Barboza', reclaiming the ONE lightweight kickboxing world title in the process.
The Brazilian star told veteran ONE Championship broadcast analyst Mitch Chilson in the ring after his fight:

"I adjusted also my boxing training in my fight camp, so that’s one of the secrets also."
No wonder Eersel's hands were on point. His boxing combinations were quick and powerful, and had Nicolas throwing fits. At this level, the fight is a game of inches, and this one adjustment that Eersel made likely spelled the difference.
As a result, Eersel is once again the two-sport king at lightweight and a man without equal.
ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Prime Video went down live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand last Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
