18-year-old Muay Thai standout Johan Ghazali comes from a family of fighters, and he knew he was destined to follow in his parents' footsteps right after having his first fight.
Ghazali opened up about his humble beginnings when asked about it during the virtual media day for ONE 170, which will happen on Jan. 24. 'Jojo' stated:
"Apart from my family, I would say just the adrenaline that I got from my first fight. Honestly, in my first fight, I wasn't really like all in 100 percent."
He continued:

"But after the first fight, after I felt the adrenaline, after I felt the excitement before the fight, the congratulations I had from the fight, that's what really got me in love with the sport. But before that, it was my family and things like that."
Ghazali's choice to go all-in on being a Muay Thai competitor, with the support of his beloved mother, has brought him to great heights. He hopes his strong run of form will eventually lead to him fighting for the currently vacant ONE flyweight Muay Thai crown.
Standing between him and his lofty goal is 22-year-old rising star Johan Estupinan, who will be his opponent at ONE 170 inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Johan Ghazali prides himself on consistently tweaking his game, and he promised fans will see a new side to his game at ONE 170 when he shares the circle with 'Panda Kick'.
The Rentap Muay Thai Gym star mentioned during the ONE 170 virtual media day:
"So, yeah, every single new fight you see me, it's going to be a new version of me. So even if it's slow, there's always improvements."
