During his post-fight interview following the win, Medic hyped up his knockout ability, claiming that sometimes he gets scared looking at his own hands.
His comments are also backed up by his fight stats. 'The Doctor' has clinched eight of 10 wins via knockouts. Furthermore, all four of his UFC wins have come via knockout.
With the win, Medic improved his UFC record to 4-2. Meanwhile, his opponent is now 1-4 in his last five.
While the Kings MMA affiliate is yet to break into the divisional top 15, a few more similarly impressive wins might just be enough to fetch Medic an opportunity to face one of the ranked fighters and perhaps steal their spot on the divisional ladder.
