Fans reacted to Cesar Almeida's devastating one-punch knockout victory over Abdul Razak Alhassan. The middleweight fighters faced off on the UFC Vegas 101 main card, which took place on Jan. 11 at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the fight, Alhassan had an impressive start, knocking Almeida down with a powerful punch, and following up with ground strikes. Although Almeida was rocked, he managed to survive the onslaught and regained his footing. Despite still being unsteady, Almeida kept his focus on Alhassan, who charged forward with reckless abandon, throwing looping strikes.
While retreating, Almeida successfully landed a decisive right hand on Alhassan's chin, resulting in an instant knockout. No follow-up shots were necessary, and the fight ended at the 4:16 mark of Round 1. This win marked Almeida's second consecutive win after suffering his first professional MMA loss against Roman Kopylov at UFC 302.
UFC Vegas 101 was headlined by the women's strawweight fight between Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas. Dern won the fight by a third-round submission, successfully avenging her 2019 defeat against Ribas.
