Newly crowned ONE interim women's atomweight MMA world champion 'The Menace' Denice Zamboanga of the Philippines is excited for a potential fight on United States soil, which is something she says she has yet to experience before.
The 28-year-old Quezon City resident was asked following her historic world title win last weekend if she wanted to be on one of the upcoming U.S. cards for ONE Championship this year, and she answered in the affirmative.

"Of course, I'll be grateful to fight in the U.S. because I haven't been there. That will be amazing."
Zamboanga was last seen in a second-round technical knockout victory over no.4-ranked women's atomweight MMA contender Alyona Rassohyna at the recently concluded ONE Fight Night 27 last weekend.

'The Menace' Denice Zamboanga believes her performance against Alyona Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27, where she finished the Ukrainian star, is something former training partner Stamp Fairtex had been unable to do.
Stamp is 1-1 with Rassohyna, losing by submission in their first encounter and then taking a decision in the rematch.
Zamboanga told the media:
"She fought Stamp before and Stamp didn’t finish her, but I made a statement by finishing her."
