"The atmosphere was amazing" - Liam Harrison recalls ONE's epic United States debut ahead of ONE 168: Denver

Liam Harrison has had to wait a long time for his return but now he has the perfect stage to do it on.

The Brit has made a career out of competing all over the world against any and all comers but even this next outing will be a new experience for him.

After suffering a devastating knee injury in his fight with Nong-O, 'The Hitman' has had to remain extremely patient on the long road to recovery.

Fortunately, he is back, fired up and ready to go for one of the biggest nights of the entire year as ONE Championship returns to Denver.

ONE 168 at the Ball Arena on September 6 is set to be a massive card, and Harrison is excited to be a part of it.

He spoke during a recent interview on the Sky Sports MMA Club about targeting this date:

"It's going to be great this year, that's what I wanted to do, I wanted to get in ONE Championship in America."

Harrison was also in attendance for ONE's debut event in the United States last year which was also in Denver.

He reflected on that night at ONE Fight Night 10 and how it has only added to his excitement for September 6:

"I was ringside last year in Denver. That card was amazing. The American fans and the atmosphere was amazing."
