Denis Puric believes that he has a huge opportunity on his hands heading into the final Fight Night event of 2024. It's been a very big year for 'The Bosnian Menace' who has been competing at the top of the flyweight division.
After beating Jacob Smith earlier this year in Muay Thai, he went on to put on one of the best fights of the year in a kickboxing clash with Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
However, with 'The Iron Man' losing his Muay Thai world championship on the scales ahead of ONE 169, the flyweight Muay Thai division is now without a champion.
Puric believes that his next contest at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 has come at the perfect time for him. In a huge clash at Lumpinee Stadium, he will take on Elias Mahmoudi who has secured impressive finishes in back-to-back fights.

Puric spoke in a fight-week interview with the Bangkok Post about what is at stake for him in this final fight of 2024.
He believes that if he's able to get past Mahmoudi, there will be no one left to stand in his way:
"So definitely toughest guy in the division, and if we beat him, the belt is ours for the taking."

Denis Puric is never too far away from a title opportunity
Some fighters are only ever one or two fights away from a world championship and Denis Puric is one of those names. His exciting fighting style and charismatic personality make him a true fan favorite and his clash with Rodtang was the perfect example of that.
Even in defeat, his stock continued to climb after that fight in June and he's carried that into his return on Dec. 6.
Getting his hand raised against Mahmoudi will certainly put him in the mix for the vacant flyweight gold.
