Newly crowned ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 was surprised with how quickly he dethroned then-reigning 145-pound Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver last Friday, Sept. 6, inside the Ball Arena.
In an Instagram post by ONE Championship, Superlek, who also holds the ONE flyweight kickboxing world championship, had this to say about his 49-second knockout of 'The General':

Still reigning as the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, Jonathan Haggerty will be closely watching Hiroki Akimoto and Ilias Ennahachi's bout at ONE Friday Fights 81 on September 27 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, where the winner could potentially be his next challenger.
In a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, Haggerty stated:
"Yeah, that's a great fight, very exciting fight, both in title contentions. Yeah, I'll be watching that very closely. So yeah, that'd be a great fight, a great match-up. I'm excited to see Ilias' comeback fight at bantamweight now. I feel like Ennahachi wins."
