Since arriving in ONE Championship, Jacob Smith has been able to accumulate some elite level experience. The time that he has spent as a top contender in ONE's flyweight Muay Thai division will be invaluable to him on his return at ONE 169.
On Nov. 8 at Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium, Smith will face Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon in a rematch. 'The Iron Man' unfortunately ended up missing weight and was stripped of his title. The belt, however, is still on the line for the Brit in this huge striking clash.

Jacob Smith is poised to seize the throne
Come Nov. 9, Jacob Smith could find himself as the new reigning and defending world champion at flyweight. The challenger has admitted that in his first fight with Rodtang back in 2022, there was still a lot that he needed to improve on and adjust to.
He's since settled into things under the ONE banner and that gives him the confidence to go out there and shock the world on Nov. 8. Smith becoming the new world champion would show how strong the flyweight division is because as good as the competition has been, it has been dominated by one man for such a long time.
ONE 169 will be available to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime today, Nov. 8.
