If Anissa Meksen can come out on top in her highly anticipated clash with Jackie Buntan, she believes it will be the highlight of her career thus far.
Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, ONE 169 on Friday, Nov. 8 will see three massive ONE world title clashes, including a heavyweight championship showdown between three-division titleholder Anatoly Malykhin and Senegalese sensation 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane.
But first, fans will see a can't-miss showdown between two of ONE's fiercest female warriors. Seven-time kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion Anissa Meksen returns to martial arts' biggest global stage for an opportunity to claim the ONE women's strawweight kickboxing crown.
To do so, she'll have to go through one of the hardest hitters in the division—Boxing Works product Buntan.

Speaking with ONE Championship ahead of their title tilt in The Land of Smiles, 'C18' sees her scrap with Buntan at ONE 169 as a potential career-defining moment:
“It’s my dream. It’s my goal. It’s everything to me. If I take the belt, it will be the best moment of my career for sure.”
Anissa Meksen faces a tough test in Jackie Buntan
Of course, getting a win over Jackie Buntan is no easy task.
Thus far, only one other woman has done it inside the Circle—former ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Smilla Sundell. Aside from that, Buntan has bested everyone the promotion has put in front of her, including Nat 'Wondergirl' Jaroonsak, Ekaterina Vandaryeva, Amber Kitchen, Diandra Martin, and most recently, Martine Michelleto.
Can Buntan fend off the bound-and-determined Anissa Meksen and bring a ONE world title back to the United States, or will 'C18' earn her 104th career victory inside the Mecca of Muay Thai?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 169: Malykhin vs. ‘Reug Reug’ live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Nov. 8 in U.S. primetime.
