He may not have gotten the swan song he wanted, but Liam Harrison will never forget the lead-up to his emotional final match.
Harrison entered his all-legends clash against Thai icon Seksan having fulfilled a childhood dream after pro-wrestling legend Bill Goldberg joined his entourage at ONE 168: Denver this past weekend at Ball Arena.
The British Muay Thai and kickboxing legend revealed that Goldberg is one of his favorite professional wrestlers, and having the former Atlanta Falcon in his corner was special in and of itself.
Taking to Instagram, Liam Harrison expressed what an honor it was to have Goldberg back him up against Seksan.

He wrote:
"Although we didn't get the result we wanted, going to walk to the ring with my childhood hero in my last ever ONE Championship fight was the coolest thing I have ever done. @goldberg95 🤝💙 #muaythai #onechampionship #wwe #goldberg"
Harrison revealed in previous interviews that he and Goldberg struck up a friendship almost a decade ago when 'Hitman' fought Malaipet in Los Angeles.
The pair has since maintained that friendship, with Goldberg ultimately flying to Denver to support Harrison at ONE 168.
Harrison, however, fell to Seksan in their instant classic and the Leeds native ultimately decided to hang up the gloves after losing to 'The Man Who Yields To No One' via technical knockout.

While Liam Harrison continued to feel honored to have Bill Goldberg in his corner at ONE 168, the former WWE and WCW heavyweight champion shared the same sentiments as the multi-time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion.
Goldberg wrote on Instagram that he was proud to be in Harrison's entourage for the 'Hitman's' final ONE Championship match against Seksan this past weekend.
Posting a comment on Harrison's Instagram post, Goldberg wrote:
"Absolutely an honor to share the walk with you, my friend. Your legacy speaks for itself and just know you are an inspiration for many around the world. Your hard work, dedication, and the fact that you're a truly great human being speaks volumes 🙏🙏"
