Fifth-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender Elias Mahmoudi's hopes of becoming a ONE world champion will see him clash with the hard-hitting Denis Puric at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6. The event will take place inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Speaking exclusively with ONE, 'The Sniper' elaborated on how important winning 26 pounds of ONE flyweight Muay Thai gold would be for his career:
"My goal in 2025 is to take the world title in Muay Thai and win a maximum bonus in every fight. The world title would be the culmination of my career. It's in the biggest and best fighting organization in the world."

Mahmoudi posted his first TKO victory under the ONE banner in August 2023 at the expense of former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship challenger Edgar Tabares.
The Mahmoudi Gym product followed that performance with a buzzer-beating knockout of Taiki Naito at ONE Fight Night 24 on Aug. 2, giving him his first winning streak in ONE.
Going toe-to-toe with 'The Bosnian Menace' will be a different challenge, however, as the third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai competitor has never been finished throughout his six-fight ONE tenure.
Elias Mahmoudi takes aim at ONE Championship gold
Following his landmark victory over Taiki Naito, Elias Mahmoudi called for his shot to challenge ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the 135-pound kickboxing crown.
The 26-year-old said in the in-ring post-fight interview with ONE commentator Mitch Chilson:
"For my last message, Chatri, big boss, please, give me a shot at the title soon. I want to fight for the title for the big champion."
