Former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker always brings a mentality of seek-and-destroy whenever he steps inside the ring or the Circle. That is exactly what he brought when he fought another former bantamweight MMA king, Kevin Belingon.
Lineker and Belingon headlined the ONE: Inside the Matrix III card in Nov. 2020 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and delivered an all-time classic fight. The best moments of the match were reported by ONE Championship on Instagram recently, with the caption:
"Sound ON 🔊😱 Before John Lineker makes his Muay Thai debut against Asa Ten Pow at ONE 168: Denver, watch his destructive performance against Kevin Belingon! 💥 @johnlinekermma"

During this match, 'Hands of Stone' not only displayed his incredible power with a second-round TKO finish of 'The Silencer,' but also showcased his granite chin, absorbing powerful strikes from the Filipino MMA star with ease.
Due to this, fans were left in awe, and users @chaunskii, @dr.tattoos.kisumu, @edi.ckv, @vashel.tagalog, and @lucasfocaskate flooded Lineker with positive comments:
"The durability is insane"
"That's something I call REAL FIGHT 🔥"
"2 gladiator clashed! What a fight!"
"The sound of those power shots🔥"

John Lineker open to competing in grappling submission and special rules bouts
Lineker is ready to make his Muay Thai debut on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver, where he will face Asa Ten Pow at the Ball Arena in Colorado. But the Brazilian superstar claimed this move to the Art of the 8 Limbs is not permanent.
But he opened himself to more opportunities to maximize his run under the world's largest martial arts organization by competing in submission grappling and other special rules fights.
The American Top Team-affiliated athlete shared this in his most recent interview with ONE Championship by saying:
"I don't intend to move to Muay Thai, but I want to continue doing these special ONE fights. Now, I am going to fight in Muay Thai. But who knows, maybe later I'll fight in the submission grappling division or do a super-fight with special rules."
ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
