Fourth-ranked ONE Championship featherweight MMA contender, 'The Cobra' Shamil Gasanov of Russia, is fresh off another impressive victory last weekend when he took out dangerous Turkish adversary 'No Mercy' Halil Amir in a pivotal divisional tilt.
Gasanov once again turned to his elite grappling to get the better of his hard-hitting foe, nullifying Amir's offense with impeccable inside work. The result was a unanimous decision in the Russian star's favor, which further boosted his stock in the stacked ONE featherweight MMA pecking order.
Speaking to the media at the official ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video post-fight interviews, Gasanov rated his performance and said he was thankful.
