Jonathan Haggerty has eyes on third bantamweight world title
Ahead of his upcoming world title defense against Superlek Kiatmoo9 on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver, which will emanate from the Ball Arena in Colorado, Haggerty talked with ONE Championship in a recent interview and discussed his plans to pursue a third world title.
The British combat sports superstar, who also holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title, said:
"I would like to keep active, defend the kickboxing belt, defend the Muay Thai belt, and then the MMA belt is definitely my mind."
The London native has been vocal in his interest in competing in mixed martial arts and challenging reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world titleholder Fabricio Andrade, especially since he already defeated him in their ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title match last November at ONE Fight Night 16.
ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
