Brendan Schaub has lauded Jake Paul for his "insane" improvements over the last year or so. Paul bested Anderson Silva via unanimous decision at the Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona this past weekend, taking his professional record to 6-0.
Their showdown ended with Paul knocking Silva down in the final round and beating 'The Spider' across the judges' scorecards. On the latest episode of The Schaub Show, former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub opined that Paul has displayed massive improvements since his last fight.
The fight in question was Paul's sixth-round KO win in his rematch against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in December 2021. 'Big Brown' pointed out that Paul didn't knock out Anderson Silva early and their fight was instead a grueling one where 'The Problem Child' lost a few rounds.
Schaub believes the long drawn-out matchup allowed Paul to showcase his skills:

"We're seeing how much Jake Paul improved from his last fight with Woodley to this fight. The amount of improvement that Jake Paul has made from his last fight to this fight, really every fight, is insane."
Schaub believes Paul has been evolving in leaps and bounds in the training room, as evidenced by the progressively impressive performances in his boxing matches:
"Kudos to his coaches, his training partners, the training camp, and for Jake Paul for literally putting every cell in his body and becoming a legit boxer. Because the Jake Paul that fought Woodley, that last one, would not have beat this Anderson Silva."

Sean O'Malley believes Nate Diaz may avoid fighting Jake Paul
Following his victory over Silva, Paul called out MMA megastar and former UFC fighter Nate Diaz to box him next. While many foresee the Paul-Diaz matchup materializing in the near future, Paul's friend and UFC bantamweight 'Sugar' Sean O'Malley seemingly begs to differ.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, O'Malley suggested that Paul's win over a striking savant like Silva may have spooked Diaz. 'Sugar' highlighted that predicting the Paul-Diaz winner would be tough, but it'd be "an epic fight" nonetheless:
"I don't know if Nate takes that fight. Nate might've seen Jake look good. It's not like Nate probably looked at him and thought, 'Oh, I could go in there and just whoop him.' So, that may be a fight that Nate doesn't even really take."
