Regian Eersel is once again at rarified air, but the recrowned double champion believes his legacy is far from done.
The future legend regained the ONE lightweight kickboxing world title when he outclassed Alexis Nicolas in a dominant display of skill in the main event of ONE Fight Night 25.
Eersel, whose lone defeat in ONE Championship was against Nicolas, returned to champ-champ status as he now holds both the ONE lightweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles.
Taking to Instagram, Regian Eersel expressed his euphoria in recapturing his first world title with ONE Championship. Eersel, however, stressed that there's still so much he can achieve in his already decorated career.

"Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting...😏 The road to success is not a straight line. It's full of bumps, setbacks, and obstacles. But each challenge you face is an opportunity to grow, and every step forward is progress 🙌 Keep pushing forward 👊."
Regian Eersel added:
"The journey continues...🇸🇷 #worldchampion #kickboxing #muaythai #theimmortal #regianeersel"
Eersel is an impressive 11-1 in ONE Championship and his defeat to Nicolas at ONE Fight Night 21 was the first time he suffered a loss since 2016.
That defeat reignited Eersel's passion, and he showed remarkable development when he faced Nicolas this weekend in Bangkok.
Lumpinee Stadium, the very same arena where he lost the lightweight kickboxing strap, became the site of Eersel's return to absolute power. Eersel showcased his immense control of the striking arts and systematically put a beating on Nicolas.
To his credit, the French star still put on an impressive performance but that paled compared to what Eersel did. Eersel was faster, stronger, and more precise in every shot he threw as he went on to reclaim the ONE lightweight kickboxing world title via unanimous decision.
Regian Eersel shuts down any plans of an immediate trilogy against Alexis Nicolas
Despite their head-to-head series sitting at a 1-1 stalemate, Regian Eersel isn't keen on giving Alexis Nicolas an immediate trilogy match.
Eersel said in his post-fight interviews that he'll still gladly defend the ONE lightweight kickboxing world title against Nicolas once 'Barboza' notches a win or two after their second meeting.
"No, not right now that he didn't win. Maybe in the future."
