ONE light heavyweight and middleweight MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin shared his thoughts on which skill Tawanchai PK Saenchai should make the most out of if he hopes to retain the featherweight Muay Thai crown over Superbon at ONE 170 on Friday, Jan. 24.
In an interview with the world's largest martial arts promotion, 'Sladkiy' explained:
"But I think their boxing is catching up. In my opinion, Tawanchai is a bit better at boxing, which will be the key to his victory."

Malykhin is not wrong in his assessment as the 25-year-old has constantly been improving his boxing, particularly his footwork, to better complement his vastly underrated kicks.
Tawanchai may already know what to expect from the featherweight kickboxing king because of their December 2023 barnburner, where the PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym affiliate successfully defended the throne via majority decision.
However, 34-year-old Superbon has proven that his game continues to keep getting better after producing a highlight-reel knockout of 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut this past September to cement his second world title opportunity versus Tawanchai.
ONE 170 will occur inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The event is available via watch.onefc.com.
Rodtang gives his take on Tawanchai, Superbon rematch
Much like Anatoly Malykhin, former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon enjoys watching a good scrap whenever possible.
This led to his detailed breakdown of Tawanchai and Superbon's world title rematch in an interview with ONE. 'The Iron Man' stated:
"Tawanchai is a boxer with brutal weapons and sharp eyesight, and his boxing IQ is high. Superbon is the same. His IQ in boxing is at a master's level. He's the best at adapting his skills on stage. His best move that everyone knows and should watch out for is his neck kicks."
