Nong-O says he can still fight at a high level
The move to flyweight by Nong-O Hama is part of his push to showcase that he can still compete at a high level even at this stage of his illustrious career.
He made this known in an interview with ONE Championship last year with his matches of late producing mixed results, highlighting how physically he still has it to battle the best in the field.
The 38-year-old Nong-O said:
"I myself always check my physical condition as well. Now my body and mind are still able to handle it. I'm still hungry for victory. And I want to show everyone that at [38] years old I can still come back."
Nong-O went undefeated in his first 10 matches in ONE Championship since making his promotional debut in April 2018. He has since gone 1-3 in his last four matches, with the lone victory coming over Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai in April last year.
