It seems that Superlek Kiatmoo9 has a knack for challenging the toughest fighters in the world, with his next opponent being the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing king Jonathan Haggerty.
The Thai superstar is totally hyped as he aims to snatch Haggerty's Muay Thai belt in the main event of ONE 168: Denver inside the Ball Arena, home of the NBA's Denver Nuggets, on September 6.
And although he had to step up into a heavier division, the veteran is elated to know that his debut there would be against one of the most powerful fighters in the world today.

'The Kicking Machine' told South China Morning Post in an interview ahead of the event's fight week in the Centennial State:
"The first time [moving up to bantamweight], immediately I get a title shot with the most powerful, like, the king of the division."
He explained:
"The only feeling that I have is I'm not worried. I'm more grateful for the opportunity that I have. I'm really happy. I'm just happy to get this chance, and I intend to do my best."

As someone who had faced both Superlek and Jonathan Haggerty in the highest level of the striking world, Rodtang Jitmuangnon knows a thing or two about these clashing superstars at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.
'The Iron Man' spoke with Sportskeeda MMA to elaborate on what 'The General' and 'The Kicking Machine' have over each other, saying:
"Superlek cannot underestimate him, and I think he'll need to have his guard up all the time. Same for Haggerty. Superlek's Muay Thai skills are polished and extensive. Haggerty has more advantage in terms of power."
