ONE Championship fans have been waiting a long time for confirmation that Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida is heading back to Lumpinee Stadium.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend has been one of the most exciting talents to watch compete in the promotion in recent years.

As ONE Championship stated in the official announcement of the contest, Aliakbari looks to maintain a huge win streak in this fight:

The fans on social media responded to the fight news by welcoming Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida back into the fold.
The Brazilian was on a run of four consecutive first-round finishes to kick off his MMA career before suffering a setback last time out.
With over a year to work on his skill set, it will be interesting to see how far Almeida has been able to come after spending this time in the gym.
He was clear that he didn't want to rush his transition into MMA so the time away could have done him the world of good.
