Aung La N Sang is undeniably one of the greatest fighters to have graced ONE Championship. He has reached various milestones under the promotion, and most notably, became a two-division MMA world champion.

The world's largest martial arts organization recently compiled a list of Aung La N Sang's accolades in an Instagram post. The caption to the post read:

"History maker 🏆 🇲🇲 Can Myanmar icon Aung La N Sang earn another World Title opportunity with a victory over Shamil Erdogan at ONE 168: Denver? @aunglansang"

In the eight-slide post, the promotion looked back at 'The Burmese Python's best years, where he captured two golden belts, went on consecutive victories, and even got a legendary statue of himself enshrined in Myanmar.

This stacked resume as a professional fighter has hyped up fellow fighters and fans, as former ONE featherweight and lightweight MMA world champion Martin Nguyen (@martinnguyenmma), former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes (@moraesadrianomma), along with users @mma_mainevent, and @limktg_7132 sent him positive messages through their comments on the post:

Aung La N Sang says that he wants to put on good fights and keep fighting

At 39, Aung La is now at the tail-end of his career and fighting mileage is numbered. However, during his recent interview with the South China Morning Post before his middleweight MMA fight with Shamil Erdogan on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver, the Myanmar icon answered the question about a possible retirement.

The Kill Cliff FC athlete stated:

"I don't know. Just put on some more good fights, you know. I wanna keep fighting until I don't improve any more in between fight."

ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in Colorado during U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
