Joe Rogan recently offered his take on the current civil protests in Iran that have been going on for the last three months. According to the United Nations, at least 14,000 people have been detained or arrested in Iran in the six weeks since the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, on September 16.
It all began with the death of Amini, a 22-year-old woman arrested on 13 September by the 'morality police' in Tehran for alleged violations of Iran's strict rules mandating women to wear hijabs or headscarves.
As per news stories, officers beat her over the head with a baton and reported a heart attack as the cause of her demise.

During episode #1899 of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) alongside American comedian Yannis Pappas, the UFC color commentator reacted to the latest developments, suggesting that the Iranian parliament had voted (227-63) in favor of executing the 15,000 protesters they had already arrested.
Rogan spoke about how the ruling class capitalizes on major issues in the world by tightening regulations to establish more power over their people.
According to him, rather than overthrowing the present system in place and burning it to the ground, it's important to learn from world politics and build upon that:
"We need to make our system better, we can't throw it away. We need to fix this thing slowly and carefully in a way that doesn't overturn everything. If we don't we're f**ked."
Rogan further added:
"The real problem is not 78 genders, or wether or not the ocean's going to boil, the real problem is money and politics. These motherf**kers put us in positions in order for them to gain extreme wealth and they do that for their own benefit.... and they've always done that."

Joe Rogan labeled the friction as "real oppression" and shed light on how tyrants dictate their lives:
"That is real oppression, folks. This is scary s**t. It's hard for people to believe that it could happen here. But you have to realize that's happening somewhere in the world in 2022 while we are enjoying lattes from Starbucks and f**king [enjoying] Netflix. In other parts of the world, you have to dress a specific way or you will be killed. That is happening in a modern country with the internet."
