MMA fans recently voiced their thoughts on how Khalil Rountree Jr.'s battle wounds look after almost a month of his encounter against Alex Pereira. Currently, his injuries may have healed. But his face still bears enough scars to showcase what kind of battle he had with Pereira.

Rountree showcased incredible resilience during his UFC 307 encounter against Pereira. Although he lost the fight in the fourth round, the Brazilian had to work a lot harder to achieve a victory.

'The War Horse' stopped fighting back in the fourth round primarily due to the insane amount of damage he had taken. While Pereira's last two title defense rivals, Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill, got floored by only a few of his strikes.

Rountree's resilience took a heavy toll on him as his face turned into a bloody mess. However, a recent tweet from @mma_orbit showcased that Rountree had recovered well from his injuries despite being scarred by his battle wounds.
